There are many situations where a person can come across the need to buy a floor mat. It can be for the home, office or factory, floor mats are used in a variety of conditions with the basic aim to keep the floor neat and people safe or protecting them slipping and falling down due to the wet on the floor. Many people also prefer rubber when looking for floor mats because it is made out of natural substance. Rubber is produced on plantations or trees which grow in semi tropical and tropical locations.

The bark of each tree in the plantation is systematically cut in such a way that the latex within slowly runs down to the channel that has also been cut into the bark and the latex being collected in a small tin or vessel. The collected entry mats was taken to the rubber factory for further processing. The rubber provides many characteristics that are beneficial in a rubber floor mat. The rubber mats are durable, water resistance and will provide a non-slip surface. Using these latex anti fatigue mats and entry mats are manufactured with combination with some other materials.  Now a days, more of other materials than rubber are used to manufacture mats.
